Showing Feedback on Your Home
As agents show your home to potential buyers, it is important for us to obtain feedback on your home, its price, and the level of interest in your home.
This feedback is critical as is allows us to understand how your home is being received by the market, and allows us to make any needed adjustments.
Unfortunately many agents don’t dedicate the time or systems to obtain showing feedback, putting the home seller at a distinct disadvantage.
The traditional method of the listing agent calling and leaving messages for agents after the showing, results in low response rates. Agents are busy, have since shown many other homes and don’t remember property addresses, and when they do call back, the needed questions aren’t always asked. What’s worse, even when the traditional listing agent does get feedback, it often never makes it to you, or at least not without the listing agent having sanitized it first.
By requesting feedback via electronic means, the showing agent is reminded about the home (photos, virtual tour etc), and is provided with a very quick and simple way to provide systematic feedback. Response rates to requests are dramatically higher than the traditional calling method alone. While we still call showing agent as needed, leveraging technology provides consistent, reliable and usable information.
